PRINT COPY
I have also been involved in the creation of various forms of physical print. This includes letters sent to specific targeted audiences and pages in catalogues. Take a look at my top-selling pieces below ...

Headline: Taste the glorious Saint Tropez high-life

-
This went out in June 2024 with the main sell being 'stock up for summer'.

¡Hola! Mediterráneo Orange Spritz
Headline: Spritz it Spanish style

The sell: A convenient pre-mixed spritz that "banishes measuring and mixing woes"
-
Result: £43k target, made £65k – 51% up.

Italian Whites Mix
Headline: Italy Refreshed!

-
The aim of this catalogue piece was to persuade customers to try Italy's less well known grape varieties – no mean feat given how popular Pinot Grigio is.

I loved writing this and really diving into the Laithwaites mantra of 'We stop at nothing'.
-
Result: £65k target, made £94k – 44% up.

Château Ramage La Batisse
Headline: 13-year-old, triple-Gold claret with legendary neighbours ... HALF PRICE

I chose to focus on the wine's incredible credentials and what a bargain it is even at normal price – let alone with a 50% discount.
-
It was a smash-hit success, making £166k –
38% up on forecast.

Australian Whites Showcase
Headline: 33% OFF fabulously fresh Aussie whites ... plus two FREE ‘thank you’ bottles

-
A 4-page targeted letter going out to fans of Australian white wines.

The idea was that top Aussie wineries were struggling with a legacy of punitive Chinese tariffs and recent difficult harvests, and to thank our customers for sticking by them – we offered them a special 'thank you' deal with two free bottles and 33% off.
-
Result: £137k target, making £162k.
